The results of poverty for women are due to outdated beliefs, improper use of technology/social
media, the effect of the patriarchal system, and the effect of poor parenting style (insufficient
support from parents for their children’s emotional, psychological, intellectual, or physical
manner). Those effects are among the factors behind gender-based violence, violence against
children, mental health problems for women & children and maternal death.
