Introduction

Women, Youth & Children for Development Organization is a Tanzanian non-governmental organization started under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, No. 24 of 2002, with the purpose of supporting women, youth and children in social and economic development in general.

The organization has its headquarters in the Iringa district, Iringa region, but operates inside and outside of Tanzania.
The major aim or mission of the Women, Youth, and Children for Development Organization is to have a society in which children, youth, and women will be in a development mode, and free from all forms of violence hence improving the economic power of women, youth and children to afford living expenses.

The organization contributes to Sustainable Development Goals 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 16, and 17 with the club slogan “We are Building Bright Futures For All Because We Are Equal”
